Nicole Carter and her staff are amazing. My 92-year-old father has been living at AAA Shepherd's Care Home, which is in a nice neighborhood in Dallas, OR, since October 2023. He has received nothing short of the best care possible. Nicole and her staff are well trained and have gone well above and beyond to see to my father's comfort and his personal preferences such as room furnishings, meals or any special treat he may ask for. It is not easy placing a loved one in an adult foster care, but this home is not like a large facility, this is a home, and it feels like a home. His room is always clean, light and comfortable. The rest of the home is spotless and very inviting to not just the residents, but to visiting family and friends. We cannot express enough our gratitude and highly recommend you take the time to visit AAA Shepherd's Care Home.
I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care my mom received at AAA Shepherd's Care Home. From the moment she arrived, the welcoming and home-like environment made her transition much easier for all of us. Family members were encouraged to visit at any time, which meant the world to us. The staff were not only incredibly kind but always took the time to engage in meaningful conversations with both residents and their families. As my mom's dementia progressed, they continually sought innovative ways to involve her in activities that tried to keep active and interacting with others. The home was impeccably clean, and the dedication of the well-staffed team was evident; it was clear they genuinely loved their work. Nicole and Patricia, the owners, were very responsive and compassionate, addressing all our questions with care and understanding. The individualized attention my mom received every day truly made a difference. I wholeheartedly recommend AAA Shepherd's Care Home to any family seeking a nurturing and supportive environment for their loved ones.
I want to share our experience with anyone looking for a wonderful Adult Foster Care Home that feels like a real home — look no further than AAA Shepherd's Care Homes. They helped care for my sister. Nicole and Patricia are absolutely amazing ladies! They are so compassionate about everything they do for their residents. They make sure that the residents have so many things available to them in the home along with the outings they go on. They do a phenomenal job dealing with medical appointments, medications, and food to just name a few. Please don't hesitate if you are looking to have a family member be in their care — they truly love and care for each resident!
We couldn't be any happier with the care my mom has received at AAA Shepherd's Home. She is young and her disease process is progressing fast, but they have individualized the care my mom needs to make this as painless as possible. They are good at working with families and supporting the family as being part of the patient. It is definitely obvious that they truly care for their patients.
