Support with activities of daily living
Our caregivers provide individualized support with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility. We respect each resident’s preferences, privacy, and independence.
Mechanical lift and transfer support
Residents who can no longer transfer safely on their own—such as moving between a bed, wheelchair, toilet, or shower chair—may benefit from mechanical lift assistance, sit-to-stand support, or a hands-on two-person transfer. Our trained caregivers help complete these transfers safely, carefully, and with attention to each resident’s comfort.
Two-person support for safety
When a Hoyer lift is used, two trained caregivers assist with the transfer: one operates the lift while the other supports and monitors the resident. This team approach helps keep each transfer steady, safe, and controlled.
Comfort, dignity, and communication
Mechanical lifts and hands-on transfers can feel vulnerable for residents. We take our time, explain each step, speak respectfully, and make sure the resident feels as comfortable and secure as possible throughout the transfer.
Comprehensive diabetic care
We provide complete day-to-day diabetes care tailored to each resident’s individual needs. This includes blood sugar monitoring, insulin and prescribed medication administration, diabetic-friendly meals, and ongoing diabetes management — all in accordance with the resident’s care plan and in coordination with their healthcare professionals.
Catheter, colostomy, and ostomy care
Daily care and support are based on each resident’s assessed needs and care plan. We protect privacy, watch for concerns, and coordinate with visiting nurses and health professionals. Catheter changes are done by a visiting nurse or in clinic; our team provides daily care, reports concerns immediately, and follows up.
Medication management and care coordination
Caregivers support medication schedules and communicate with residents, families, pharmacies, and health professionals so care remains coordinated as needs change.
Meals and daily routines
Three home-cooked meals each day and support with daily routines help residents feel comfortable and cared for. We consider dietary needs and personal preferences.
Personal laundry care
We wash, fold, and return each resident’s personal laundry to their room. Clothing is handled gently, consistently, and with the same care we would want for our own family.
A clean, comfortable home
Our homes are cleaned every day, including swept floors, wiped surfaces, maintained bathrooms, and tidied rooms. A clean home supports health, comfort, and peace of mind.
Included as part of care
Laundry and housekeeping are not add-on services. They are part of daily life in our home and included in the care we provide.
